NIS IB PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAM (PYP)

We transform education for students aged 3 to 12. Introduced in 1997, NIS’ PYP offers a holistic approach, emphasizing significant learning experiences through annual transdisciplinary Units of Inquiry. These units integrate diverse subjects, fostering engagement, building on prior knowledge, and instigating positive action.

Guided by essential concepts, students explore identity, time, communication, organization, causation, and responsibility. Naseem’s PYP not only imparts knowledge but cultivates critical thinking, global awareness, and a sense of responsibility, shaping tomorrow’s leaders and change-makers.

As the MYP journey reaches its pinnacle in Grade 10 with the Personal Project, students showcase their Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills, symbolizing the culmination of independent and lifelong learning.

BRIDGING DREAMS

The first and only Accredited BTEC program in Bahrain. Naseem International School introduces BTEC Career Diplomas, providing highly specialized, career-focused qualifications in Business and Art & Design. Tailored for students with clear career goals, these courses equip learners with essential knowledge and skills for future education or employment.

In addition to BTEC Diploma courses, students delve into NIS Core subjects and earn IB Certificates in English and Arabic. Upon graduation, Career Diploma with BTEC students receive the Naseem International School High School Certificate, two IBDP Certificates, and a BTEC Level 3 Diploma, setting them on a trajectory toward success in their chosen field.
